Carly Anderson  is currently working on studying the evolutionary genomics, endemism, and biodiversity of lichens in the southern Appalachian mountains.

Cloe Pogoda is working with a set of twenty-two annotated mycobiont genomes and identifying the major drivers for the large amount of variation in size and complexity between each of the genomes.

Matt Schreiber is working on identifying the compounds responsible for yellow Ruellia using lab methods, HPLC-DAD, and ESI-MS. He is taking steps to prove that the compounds are not carotenoids!
